Raptor profile
What's on a bird's profile, and how to keep it up to date.
Tap any bird in your roster to open its profile. The header shows its name, photo, species (with a Hybrid badge and parentage if it's a cross) and current readiness.
Tabs
A raptor's profile is split into tabs:
- Overview: the readiness snapshot, recent weight, and any items needing attention.
- Weight: the full weight history and chart, GPH, 7-day trend and prediction, see Flying weight.
- Activities: training and hunting history.
- Slip: hunt history, advantage profile and winning patterns, see Hunting.
- Health: health records and medications, see Health records.
- Docs: files linked to this bird, see Documents.
Photo
Tap the photo to Take photo or Choose from library. You can also drag to set the focus point so the photo crops well in small spaces like the roster list.
Favourites
Star a bird from its profile or roster card to mark it a Favourite and keep it near the top of your lists.
Editing identity and identification
Tap Edit to update any field from Add a raptor: name, species, acquisition method, ring/band, microchip, transmitter frequency, and notes.
Status
Open the Status sheet to record where the bird is now: Active (in your care and flying), Released (hacked back or returned to the wild), Transferred (moved to another falconer), Lost (missing, telemetry or search ongoing), Deceased, or Other. See Archive and delete for what happens next.
