Documents
Your document vault, expiry reminders, and storage limits.
Your vault
The Documents vault keeps permits, CITES certificates, vet records and anything else you need on hand, in one place. Tap Add document and choose a source: Camera, Library, Files, or Scan document (best for permits and certificates).
Give the document a Title, a Category (Permit / license, CITES, Vet record, Breeding record, Sales contract, Insurance, Photo, Training certificate, Microchip, or Other), optional tags, and optionally link it to a specific raptor. Documents linked to a raptor also show up on that bird's own Docs tab.
Expiry reminders
Set an Expiry date on a document, such as a licence renewal or a CITES certificate, and FalconryScale reminds you 30, 7 and 1 day before it expires. The vault highlights what's Next to expire and anything that Needs attention because it has already lapsed.
Storage limits
Every plan accepts files up to 50 MB each. The Free plan has a total vault storage cap of 1 GB; Pro and Team have no total storage limit. If you're close to your limit, FalconryScale warns you before an upload would push you over, with a breakdown of what's using the space (photos, PDFs, other).
Sharing a document
On the web
From a document's page on the web app, you can create a link to share it outside FalconryScale: choose how long it lasts (1, 7 or 30 days), and, by default, protect it with an auto-generated password you can copy and send along with the link. Revoke the link at any time from the same page.
To share a whole raptor's health picture rather than a single file, see Share with your vet.
