Archive and delete
Changing a bird's status, and removing it from your roster.
Archiving a bird
Open a raptor's actions menu and choose Archive to move it out of your active roster and your daily weigh-in checklist, into Archived. Setting a bird's status to Released does the same. Choose Restore at any time to bring an archived bird back. Either way, its full history stays exactly as it was, you can still open its profile and review past weights, activities and health records at any time.
Deleting a bird
If you need to remove a bird from your roster entirely, open its profile, find Delete, and type the bird's name to confirm. FalconryScale is explicit about what this does: the bird "will be removed from your roster," but "their historical logs are kept," and the removal "can't be undone."
In other words, the bird disappears from your active roster, but its past weigh-ins and activity logs stay safely in your records rather than being erased. There's no undo for the removal itself from within the app, so make sure before you confirm.
