Training and flights
Logging a training session, and tracking the flight path.
Logging a training session
From the Activity tab, tap Log activity and choose Training. Fill in:
- Raptor and Starts (date and time).
- Location, pick Current (GPS) or a named spot like open field, woods, meadow or hills.
- Duration.
- Lure type, if you used one: rabbit, pigeon, quail, mouse, or other.
- How did your bird respond?, tag it Aggressive, Neutral, Eager, or Lethargic.
- Notes, optional.
FalconryScale fetches the weather for the session automatically when it can, and saves the activity without it if the fetch fails.
Flight path
Rolling out
GPS flight tracking is rolling out gradually. If you don't see a route on an activity's detail screen yet, it isn't switched on for your account yet.
When location services were on during a training session, the activity's detail screen shows the Flight path: the route on a map, along with distance, duration and the area covered. An activity without a captured location just shows its other details as normal, nothing is broken, there was simply no location to show.
