Buying
Browse, save and contact sellers on the FalconryScale marketplace.
Rolling out
The marketplace is rolling out gradually. If you don't see Marketplace in the app yet, it isn't on your account yet. Check back soon.
Browsing is free
You don't need Pro to browse. Open Marketplace to see active listings, newest first. Search by species, title or region, and sort by Newest, Lowest price, Highest or Nearest. Narrow the feed by species group (falcons, hawks, eagles, owls, kestrels, buzzards, hybrids) from the browse filters.
Each listing card shows the asking price, the bird's species, sex and training status, and a Verified breeder badge where the seller has one.
Checking a listing
A listing's detail page shows the seller's profile card (rating, total sales, how long they've been a member), the bird's description, and, where the seller opted in:
- Verified weight history, the same logged weight curve the owner sees, not a claim
- Hunting record shared, a slip and kill count from the bird's own activity log
FalconryScale never takes a cut of a sale. Payment happens directly between you and the seller.
Saving and alerts
Tap the heart icon to save a listing to Saved. A saved listing that's since sold or been withdrawn stays visible there with its closed status, instead of silently disappearing, and shows a price-drop badge if the seller lowered the price while it was open.
To be told about new matches, tap Create an alert from Browse or your search results and name it (for example "Harris hawks near me"). Set an optional species, country and maximum price. You'll get a weekly digest of new listings that match it; alerts live under Alerts.
Contacting a seller
Messaging a seller, and making or responding to an offer, needs Pro or Team (including the grace period after a lapsed subscription) and acceptance of the marketplace terms. Reading your existing conversations stays available either way.
Making an offer
Open the listing and tap Make an offer, or use Counter offer inside an existing conversation. The app shows an informal 48-hour countdown on a pending offer, but a seller can still respond after it passes. A seller can Accept, Decline, or send a Counter; you can Withdraw an offer you've sent. As with the asking price, an accepted offer's payment is arranged directly between you and the seller, FalconryScale never handles money.
See Safety for reporting a listing or user, and Transactions for what happens once you've agreed a sale.
