Invites
Invite a falconer to your team, or join one with a code.
Inviting someone
Owners and admins can tap Invite a falconer (or Invite member on the web) on the Team screen. Enter their email and choose a role: Admin, Member or Viewer. Only the team's owner can send an Admin invite.
FalconryScale emails the invite automatically. If the email can't be delivered, the invite row shows Email failed, share the link instead, use the Share button to send the join link yourself (your phone's share sheet, or Copy link on the web). You can see an invite's own code there too, except an admin invite's code, which only the owner can see, since it's effectively an admin seat.
Every invite expires after 14 days. An expired invite doesn't hold a seat, so it never blocks a fresh invite to the same person. From a pending invite, owners and admins can:
- Resend, which mints a fresh code (the old link stops working) and re-sends the email
- Revoke, which cancels it outright
Only the owner can resend an admin invite, same as sending one.
Joining a team
If someone shares a code or a link with you (https://app.falconryscale.com/join/XXXX-XXXX, or the falconryscale:// link on your phone), open Join a team and enter the code, or let the link fill it in. You'll see who's inviting you, the team's name, the role you'd be given, and how many members it already has, before you join. Tap Join team to accept.
You can be on only one team at a time, so joining a new one isn't possible while you already belong to one; leave your current team first.
A code won't work if it's already expired, already used, or the team can't take new members right now (for example its owner's Team plan has lapsed past the grace period). Checking or joining with a code is rate limited to 20 attempts every 15 minutes, to stop someone guessing codes.
See Create a team for seat limits, and Roles and permissions for what each role can do once they're in.
