Troubleshooting
Fixes for Bluetooth scale pairing and sign-in problems.
Bluetooth scale pairing
Rolling out
Bluetooth scale pairing is rolling out gradually. If Scale doesn't offer pairing on your account yet, it isn't on your account yet.
Is the light still pulsing? The scale's pairing light stops after 60 seconds. If it's gone dark, hold the pair button for 3 seconds to start again.
Come closer. Stay within about a metre of the scale, and away from metal mews walls, which weaken the Bluetooth signal.
Paired to another phone? A scale remembers one phone at a time for pairing. If it's already paired elsewhere, unpair it on that phone first, then try again here.
Scanning didn't start. iOS occasionally reports itself too busy with Bluetooth to start a scan. It almost always works on a second try.
Scale busy or off, on a team. If your mews scale is shared on a team, another phone may be actively weighing with it right now. Close FalconryScale there, or wait a few seconds for it to let go, then try again.
If none of this helps, contact us with your scale's model and what you tried.
Sign-in problems
Invalid email or password. Double-check both, then try Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen if you're not sure. FalconryScale emails you a 6-digit reset code.
No account found with that email. You may have signed up with a different email, or with Continue with Apple or Continue with Google instead of a password. Try those, or contact us if you're still stuck.
Verification code incorrect or expired. Request a new code and enter it as soon as it arrives, codes are time-limited.
Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes before trying again; this protects your account from repeated guesses.
Can't reach FalconryScale. Check your connection and try again. If sign-in still fails, FalconryScale's servers may be temporarily unavailable, try again shortly.
Sign-in with Apple or Google needs another step. This can happen if the sign-in flow was interrupted. Try again, or sign in with email and password instead.
Notifications aren't arriving
Check that notifications are turned on for FalconryScale at the OS level (Settings · Notifications links straight to your phone's own settings if they're off), and that the specific notification type you're expecting is turned on in FalconryScale itself. See Notifications.
