Notifications
Choose what FalconryScale tells you, by push and, on the web, browser notifications.
Notification types
From Settings · Notifications you can turn each type on or off, grouped into:
- Daily reminders: Weigh-in (your daily weigh-in reminder), Feeding (after each weigh-in), Training sessions, and Daily digest (your birds at a glance, once a day, with its own send time)
- Care & compliance: Weight alerts (sudden weight drops), Health reminders (medication schedules and vet appointments), Document expiry reminders (30, 7 and 1 day before a document expires), and Compliance alerts (permit expirations and legal reminders)
- Community & marketplace: Community notifications (comments, likes and mentions) and Marketplace inquiries (messages about your listings)
- FalconryScale: Achievement notifications (milestones, streaks and badges) and Announcements (app updates and important news)
A master Allow notifications toggle turns every push alert on or off at once. Reminders arrive in your own local time, and critical weight alerts still come through even during a focus mode.
If notifications are off at the OS level
If iOS or Android itself has notifications turned off for FalconryScale, Settings shows that plainly and links straight to your phone's own notification settings to turn them back on, FalconryScale can't override that for you.
On the web: browser notifications
The web app can send browser push notifications too, a separate permission from your phone's. The first time it's relevant, you'll see a dialog explaining what you'll get (morning reminders, rapid weight drops, document expiry) with a Turn on notifications button; that triggers your browser's own permission prompt. You can manage the same notification types, push column, from Settings · Notifications on the web.
Email delivery
Email notifications are coming soon. Today, FalconryScale notifies you by push, on your phone and, once you turn it on, in your browser.
The web app also has Quiet hours, a from/to window that pauses push overnight; urgent health alerts still come through regardless.
