Settings
Find your way around FalconryScale's settings, and set your units, language and appearance.
Where settings live
On mobile, open Settings from the tab bar. Tap your profile card at the top to edit your profile, name, and avatar. Below it, settings are grouped into:
- Account: Subscription, Achievements, Team, Privacy
- App: Preferences, Notifications, Scale, Food items
- Support: Help centre, Contact us, Send feedback, About FalconryScale
- Legal: Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, open source licences, photo credits
On the web, the same areas live down the Settings sidebar: Profile, Preferences, Notifications, Scale, Team, Subscription, Privacy & data.
This page covers Preferences. See Notifications, Privacy and data and Security for the rest.
Units and precision
Set your Weight unit, Grams, Ounces or Pounds, used for every weigh-in and flying window across your mews. Precision rounds readings to the nearest 0.1 g or 1 g. Distance & temperature switches between km · °C and mi · °F, used in weather, hunt logs and flight range. Each of the three is its own setting.
Language
FalconryScale's interface is available in English, Italian, Spanish and Arabic (right-to-left). System default follows your phone or browser's own language; otherwise pick one directly.
Appearance
Choose System, Light or Dark. System follows your device's own light and dark schedule.
On the web
The web app's Preferences page groups the same controls into cards: Units & precision, Language & appearance, and Date & calendar (date format, and whether breeding tasks show on your Today dashboard). Its Scale card explains that pairing a Bluetooth scale isn't available in the browser, since it needs Bluetooth on your phone, pair it in the mobile app and your weigh-ins sync here automatically.
