Privacy and data

Who can see your profile, exporting your data, and deleting your account.

Who can see your profile

Settings · Privacy controls who can see your falconer profile: Private, Community, Public, or Team only (locked until you're on a team). Show location shares an approximate area on your flight logs, and Show activity shares your hunting and training logs on your profile; both only apply on a Community or Public profile. On Private, nothing about your birds or activity leaves your account.

You can also turn on Strip photo location so GPS data is removed from photos you upload, and opt in or out of sharing anonymous usage data to help improve FalconryScale.

Exporting your data

Under Your data, tap Download my data (Export JSON on the web) for a JSON export of your raptors, weigh-ins and activity. On mobile it's shared straight from your device; on the web, it downloads, and the page remembers the date of your last export.

Deleting your account

Delete account, in the danger zone of Privacy, permanently deletes your profile, your raptors, every record, and your subscription. This can't be undone. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

Deleting removes:

  • Every raptor profile and its weigh-in history
  • Health records and documents
  • Breeding pairs and clutches
  • Your XP and achievements
  • Your Pro trial and billing details
  • Any team member access you'd granted

FalconryScale's own confirmation tells you your data will be fully erased within 30 days of deleting.

If you own a team

If you own a team with other members on it, you can't delete your account until you transfer ownership or delete the team first, so no one else is left pointed at a team whose owner can never sign back in.

See Security for signing out of other devices before you go.
